2-year-old filly pacers on display Wednesday at Dover Downs

Dover, DE — Two $20,000 divisions of DSBF 2-year old pacing fillies went to post as the sun dropped behind the NASCAR stands and the mercury dropped on Wednesday (Nov. 13) at Dover Downs.

The first division, a non-wagering event before the regular card, was all Bag Of Jewels(Roddy’s Bags Again-Artist Jewels) in rein to Victory Kirby in 1:57.4. She is owned by Henry Faragalli,III, Art Feeney, Bonuccelli Racing, and Bay Pond Racing. Trained by Les Givens and bred by Winbak Farm. She’s Got The Lynx got up for second and Sprinkles On Top was third.

The second division was the first half of the Daily Double on the wagering card. Cinder Block (Rockabillie-Cinderella), the final winner at Harrington eased to the front past the quarter and pulled away in the stretch to win by 5-1/4 lengths in 1:57.2 for reinsman Allan Davis and trainer Wayne Givens. She is owned by Legacy Racing of DE, Inc. and the breeder is Elam Esh. Emma got the place and Spin Sumthin was 3rd.

The second leg of the Dover series starts Monday (Nov. 18) with the 2-year old pacing colts.
