Delmar, MD — The Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association is hosting a photo contest for the cover of the 2018 MSBA Maryland Standardbred Stallion Directory.

The contest is open to all foals sired by a Maryland stallion.

Submissions can be submitted to mdbreeders@live.com and the deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 20.

When submitting your photo please include photo credits along with the foal’s name, sire, and dam information. We recommend photos that have a portrait orientation and are hi-resolution but we will consider all photos. Photos submitted but are not selected for the cover will be utilized throughout the directory.

“For many years the Maryland Standardbred Sire Stakes program has flailed in the uncertainty, now with an infusion from VLT revenue the Sire Stakes program is in a state of revitalization. The stallions standing in Maryland deserve to be showcased,” MSBA President Dan Myer stated.
