2020 Chinese Auction coming soon

Washington, PA — The former 2:00 Club, together with the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association, is very pleased to announce that the upcoming 32nd annual Chinese Auction for the Meadows Chaplaincy Program will take place on Sunday (Dec. 13).

Due to COVID-19 we did not want to cancel this event that we love so much and that has raised so much money to help many people through the Chaplaincy Program. We have adjusted accordingly and this year will have pre-sales and a live stream. There will unfortunately be no dinner this year. However, there will still be the MSOA membership meeting taking place in the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe, at 4 p.m.

We are offering two options to buy tickets this year. First option is to come to the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe, on Sunday (Dec. 13) and purchase tickets and drop in the desired prize bag. Second option is to fill out a “ticket pre-sales” order form and we will place your tickets in the desired prize bag for you.

Prizes can be viewed online at themsoa.com.

Ticket pre-sales will be available in the MSOA office from Dec. 7-11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone in the paddock that week can reach out to Dawnelle Mock for a pre-sale order form.

If you do not wish to purchase pre-sale tickets, please stop on Sunday (Dec. 13) from 1-4 p.m. to buy and place your tickets.

The drawing of the prizes will be streamed live on the MSOA Facebook and Youtube page.

Participants are encouraged that if they win a prize to come to the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe, to claim your prize that night (Dec. 13).

Thanks to the many generous donors, the event raised a record-breaking $37,860 last year.

With the Chinese Auction being done differently we still hope to reach a new record with your help. Please consider donating a prize to add to our “prize list.” We welcome all gifts from cash, giftcards, baskets, lottery tickets, etc. All donations are tax deductible. Prizes can be left at the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association office. We are requesting that donations be at the MSOA office by Dec. 1 so that we can get them updated on the website.

Please contact MSOA at 724.228.3644 or email msoa@themsoa.com or Janet Campbell at 724.331.2660 or email jjcamp1@comcast.net if you have any questions.

Tickets start at $1, the larger gifts are $2 or three for $5. There are a few prizes valued over $500 including cash prizes and these tickets are $5 each. For every $100 you spend you receive $10 worth of tickets of any color free. Credit cards, cash and checks made payable to CHHA will be accepted.
