London, ON — The curtain opened on The Raceway at Western Fair District on Friday evening (Oct. 4) as he began it’s 2019/2010 fall meet. The half-mile oval unveiled its newly renovated Top Of The Fair restaurant along with its high definition broadcast. The Raceway was also pleased to host a pair of $104,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Divisions for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings.

The Raceway was also pleased with its overall wagering on the evening. A total of $349,350 was wagered on the night, which marks a 59 percent increase from opening night last season.
