Ake Svanstedt dominated the races at his old home track, Axevalla, in Sweden Monday (Dec. 31), as he won four races from eight drives.

Svanstedt is on holiday in Sweden, but picked up eight drives Monday. All four winners belonged to Karl Erik Bender’s Palema Stable, with whom Svanstedt had a long relationship.

The Palema horses are all trained by Per Hedberg.
