The 10-year-old gelding, one of two horses in the 18-year-old’s stable, was sent off as the even money favorite from the inside post. Driver Vinny Ginsburg put him on the lead, then encountered a stiff first-over challenge from Northern Jack heading around the third turn. Northern Jack began to give way after the three-quarter point, and Mister Love cruised under the wire four lengths in front. He stopped the clock in a season’s best 1:57.2.

Urbanski has been working with her dad, John, a regular trainer at Freehold, for many years. She began sending out her own string in March. She’s had horses race at Freehold, Ocean Downs, Yonkers Raceway, and Harrah’s Philadelphia. So far in her career, she’s had 53 starters, with one win, four seconds, and seven thirds. Her career earnings stand at $13,491.

Live racing resumes at Freehold on Friday afternoon, starting at around 12:30 p.m. (EST).
