Allamerican Captor wins at Van Wert

Celina, OH — Allamerican Captor (7, h, Jate Lobell-Can Du River-Cam Fella) won his second straight Signature Series Pace event on Saturday night (September 1) at the Van Wert County Fair in Van Wert, Ohio.

Driven by Jay Cross and leased by Victory Hill Farm, ‘Captor’ won in a time of 1:58.4, easily outdistancing Rusty Water. Allamerican Captor, who is standing stud in rural Indiana, has now raced in three Series events. Allamerican Captor has won nearly a million dollars over his career.

Despite finishing out of the top five, Rock Sensation was able to tie for the Signature Serie Pace lead with Lotsabelief; both have 66 points on the year.

In the Signature Series Trot, Callico Cat (6, m, Call Toll Free-Stone Street-Speedy Crown), driven by Trent Bates and owned by Elaine, Michael and Paul Gabriel, won in a time of 2:03, nipping Sandblast. Series Trot leader De Niro G did not race at Van Wert.

The Signature Series continues on September 3 at the Richwood Fair.
