Anthony J. Minore, 27, dies

Monticello, NY — It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Joseph Minore Sr. announces his sudden death on Feb. 7, 2019. He was 27.

The son of Paul and Sharon Minore, Anthony was born in Mt. Holly, N.J. but spent his youth in Yardville, N.J. He enjoyed football, martial arts, skateboarding, and trekking in the woods.

Anthony graduated Steinert High School and went on to Palm Beach State College. He spent the last 10 years in Delray Beach, Fla. He loved working out in the gym, cooking, spending time at the beach and pool, and hanging out with friends. He was charming, charismatic, and kind, with the gift of ‘Irish gab.’ His family often referred to him as ‘The Mayor.’

Anthony was loved by many and will be sorely missed. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Mary and Anthony Minore, maternal grandparents Marie and Joseph Cantwell, aunt Eileen Beykirch, and cousin Joseph Cantwell.

He is survived by his parents, Sharon and Paul Minore, his beloved brother Paul Minore Jr. (Alyssa), nephew Braydon Paul, his beautiful son Anthony Jr., and his Florida brother John D’Amico. He had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

Anthony’s memorial gathering in Florida will be on Tuesday (Feb. 12) from 6-8 p.m. at the Del Lago Chapel, 131 S. Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, Fla. His memorial gathering in New Jersey will take place on Saturday (Feb. 16) from 12-2 p.m. at Saul Colonial Home followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at Crosswicks United Methodist Church, 535 Ward Avenue, Crosswicks, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, donations will go towards Anthony Jr.’s educational fund.
