Yonkers, NY — Sons of Art Major proved victorious in both of Tuesday night’s (July 28) New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings at Yonkers Raceway.
In the $75,900 first division, Major Betts led all the way to a 2-1/2-length score in 1:51.1. Dexter Dunn was the winning driver for trainer Mark Harder, who shares ownership with Joseph Jannuzzelli and Deena Frost.
After a 10th-place finish in the Meadowlands Pace, the return to NYSS action got Major Betts back to the winner’s circle.

Marcus Miller drove the Art Major gelding to victory for trainer Erv Miller and owners Ronald Michelon and Daniel Plouffe.
