Harrington, DE — Bonnie Benson, John Johannsen, Andrew Stafford and Holly Case’s Artrageous ($9.60, Art Stafford Jr.) was a 1:53.1 winner in the $18,000 Mares Open Tuesday (May 28) at Harrington Raceway.

The Andrew Stafford-trainee notched her third consecutive win after holding off a fast-closing Goin Again, who was second, and third place finisher Sayulita, whom Artrageous passed late for her 4th win of the season.

It was one of four wins on the card for driver Art Stafford Jr., who has the early lead in the driver standings over Mike Cole and Victor Kirby. Last year’s top trainer, Joe Columbo is the current leading conditioner over former track training champs Josh Green and Joe Hundertpfund Jr.

Tony Morgan, Roger Plante Jr. and Ross Wolfenden each had a driving double.
