Harrington, DE — Artrageous ($14.20, Art Stafford Jr.) was a 1:53.1 winner Tuesday (Oct. 8) in the featured $20,000 Mares Open Pace at Harrington Raceway.

The 5-year-old Art Major mare had little trouble making the lead from post position seven, and she would stay there for the mile’s duration in achieving her sixth win of the season over Cruzinforavictory and Shesarocker. It was her sixth win of the season for trainer Andrew Stafford, who shares ownership with Bonnie Benson, John Johannsen and Holly Case. Artrageous surpassed $400,000 in career earnings with her 19th career win.

The night started in familiar fashion, as current meet leading driver Art Stafford Jr. won both halves of the daily double with Dash To Freedom ($8.80) and Humble N Kind ($2.80). He won four races on the card. Mike Cole and Jonathan Roberts each had a driving double.
