Bepi Bi is impressive winner in Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli

Bepi Bi, a 3-year-old colt sired by Donato Hanover, was a very impressive winner of the prestigious Gran Premio Orsi Mangeli, raced Sunday (Nov. 1) at the track in Turin, Italy.

Bepi Bi, trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro and driven by Federico Esposito, won his elimination and the final, and in both races scored by open lengths. In the elimination, Bepi Bi trotted in 1:55.3f and in the final 1:55.2f.

The purse for the winner was $126,500.

Bepi Bi, who is owned and bred by the Biasuzzi family, is a half-brother to top trotter Twister Bi (sired by Varenne), who won the International Trot in 2017.
