Big showing for Chip Chip Hooray offspring

Columbus, OH — Offspring of the stallion Chip Chip Hooray swept the top six spots in the $40,200 second leg of the Ohio Sires Stakes for 2-year-old filly trotters on Sunday (July 13) at Raceway Park.

The race was captured by Acadia Farms Inc. and Pat Holden’s Get Chipped (out of Patti Page) in a time of 2:03. Jim Dailey was in the bike for trainer Marty Wollam as the winner went coast-to-coast through fractions of :30.1, 1:01.4 and 1:32 to earn her first career win in her second lifetime start. She finished a half-length ahead of Northmedo Esther (out of Northmedo Blessing), with Mocha Jo (out of Jo’s Gesture) third.

Rounding out the top six in the Chip Chip Hooray parade were Allthatnabagofchip (out of Cynthia Iliad), Chippednstrawberry (out of Queens Pizzazz) and Shady Chip (out of Whitershadeofpale).
