Big upsets lead to Pick-5 and Pick-6 carryovers Monday at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — The Pick-5 sequence on Friday night (July 30) at Yonkers Raceway started out with 41-1 shot Unico Legend N winning, and then that was followed up by 26-1 Cool Blues Man getting a victory.

Keyed by those two upsets, the Pick-5 ended up having no winning tickets, so there will be a $2,777.12 carryover and a $10,000 guaranteed pool in that wager on Monday night’s (Aug. 2) program.

The Pick-6 was also not hit, resulting in a $1,601.64 carryover into the same card.

The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available here. The Pick-5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent, as does the Pick-6, which gets going in the third race.

Monday night’s 12-race program starts at 7:15 p.m.
