This was the 20th win in a Group 1 race for the top French trotter.

However, Bold Eagle had to fight for the victory, as Valokaja Hindö with Christophe Martens came very close at the finish and both trotters were timed in 1:54.1f. Third was Billie de Montfort with Gabrielle Gelormini.

The purse for the winner was $83,500.

In Sweden, the 3-year-old colt Aetos Kronos, who hails from the first crop sired by Bold Eagle, is now Europe’s fastest 3- year-old in 2019, as he won at Bergsaker in 1:54.2f.

Äetos Kronos is part-owned by the Snyder family (Jeff and Michael) and David C. Goodrow, together with the Allevamento Kronos.

Johan Untersteiner was in the bike and Jerry Riordan is the trainer.
