Book signing at Harness Racing Museum

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — Win, Place, or Die brings Les Roberts’ determined private investigator into the world of harness racing.

Les’ regular characters, including Victor Gaimari from the Italian mob, Tobe Blaine, police detective and lover of private investigator Milan Jacovich, and K.O., Milan’s right-hand man, mix it up with a local investment broker who owns horses and drives at Northcoast Downs. Quirky backstretch characters; trainers, drivers and grooms; a woman track owner with a prickly personality; and…murder!

Win, Place, or Die, now available at the Harness Racing Museum’s gift shop, online or on-site, is written by Les Roberts with Dan S. Kennedy. Les Roberts is the author of 17 mystery novels featuring the Cleveland-based P.I. Milan Jacovich.

Roberts is the past president of both the Private Eye Writers of America and the American Crime Writer’s League. He came to mystery writing after a 24-year career writing and producing TV shows.

Business writer and horseman Dan Kennedy’s passion is harness racing. Most of his horses race at Northfield Park, where he drives professionally himself. Northfield’s 2008 Owner of the Year, Kennedy received a Special Recognition Award from the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.

Dan Kennedy will be available to sign copies of the book at the Harness Racing Museum on Hall of Fame Day (Sunday, July 7) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a pre-release sale, so call 845.294.6330 to reserve your signed copy!
