Centaur gaming properties collaborate on hurricane relief fundraising

Indianapolis, IN Centaur Gaming announced today acollaboration between its two racing and gaming properties, Hoosier Park Racing& Casino in Anderson, Ind. and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino inShelbyville, Ind., to launch a weekend campaign in support of Hurricane Matthewrelief efforts on Friday, Oct. 14 through Sunday, Oct. 16.

Guestsvisiting both Hoosier Park and Indiana Grand starting 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 are encouraged to donate a minimum of $10in support of those affected by Hurricane Matthew. All donations will be sentto American Red Cross and directly benefit domestic Hurricane Matthew reliefefforts. In return, both properties will give guests who make a donation $10 infree slot play as a thank you for their contribution.

“It’sour civic responsibility to step up and help the people who have beendevastated by Hurricane Matthew,” said Jim Brown, Centaur Gaming’s presidentand chief operating officer. “Good things can happen when a community pullstogether, and we would like to thank our Centaur Gaming guests in advance forcontributing with us to fundraise for these much needed relief efforts.”

Inaddition to the ‘donate and get’ event at Hoosier Park and Indiana Grand,Centaur Gaming is also encouraging its 2,000 team members statewide to donateto disaster relief efforts through American Red Cross.
