Clinton Raceway Legends Day auction now open for bidding

Clinton, ON — On Sunday (June 23), Clinton Raceway will play host to its 10th biennial Legends Day event. Since its inception in 2001 the signature event, featuring retired Hall of Fame drivers, has helped raise more than $210,000 for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.

In 2015, the rural Ontario oval introduced an online auction as part of the fundraising initiatives. The addition bolstered the total funds raised, and was a great lead up to the event itself. The 2019 auction is now live at www.legendsdayauction.com and guests can easily register (Sign Up tab on the top right navigation) with an email address to partake in the bidding.

Items include an autographed set of John Campbell’s driving silks from his final drive in 2017 at Legends Day, and two tickets to see the Stanley Cup winning St. Louis Blues in either Detroit or Buffalo, with accommodation and $100 dinner credit, plus a meet and greet with Conn Smyth trophy winner Ryan O’Reilly.

Bidding will begin closing on Friday (June 21) at 7 p.m. and stagger through 9:30 p.m. Items can be picked up at the event in Clinton on June 23 and credit, debit, cash and check are all accepted forms of payment for this year’s auction.
