Harrington, DE — George Teague Jr. and the Teague Racing Partnership’s Daiymir ($3.00, Montrell Teague) was a 1:51.3 winner in the $17,000 Open Pace on Monday (May 6) at Harrington Raceway.

The 5-year-old Mr Wiggles stallion utilized his inside post position to control the tempo throughout, winning by 1-3/4 lengths over Blazing Bobby Sox, who rallied for second. Little Ben finished third.

It was the fifth win of the year for Clyde Francis trainee Daiymir, and the 19th of his career.

Tiger Thompson N ($2.80, Art Stafford Jr.) won the $11,000 sub-feature in 1:52.1 over Silver Fox J and Ideal Kiss. It was the fifth win of the season for the 6-year-old Big Jim gelding who is trained by co-owner Josh Parker for Nanticoke Racing, Steve Messick and the Prestige Stables.

Ross Wolfenden, Stafford, Teague and Victor Kirby each had two wins on the card.
