Daiymir was a narrow winner in the Open on Monday.

The Mr Wiggles 4-year-old stallion reeled in stretch leader and race favorite Options Are A Dream late for a narrow win. Trained by Clyde Francis, it was his fourth win of the season.

The same connections teamed up for a win one race earlier, with GWT ($3.20).

Driver Montrell Teague won three consecutive races, as his aunt Brenda Teague’s Delaware Chrome ($2.80) was victorious in the third race.

Mike Cole, Jim Morand and Art Stafford Jr. each had a driving double. Joe Columbo and Les Givens each had a training double. George and Tina Dennis and Nanticoke Racing each had an owner double.

The fourth race was named in memory of popular longtime Delaware horsemen J.D. Dennis. Dennis raced horses for more than 60 years along with his wife Nellie, and has two sons (George and Eddie) that are both long time horsemen currently racing in Delaware. Dennis also has another son, J.D. Dennis Jr., and two daughters, Ellen Lee McReynolds and Sandra Robertson. Dennis was also a former board member of Harrington Raceway and the Delaware State Fair.

Live racing continues on Monday through Wednesday until Oct. 24.
