Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund 2-year-old pacing colts kick off first leg of Dover Downs Series

Dover, DE – On a mild Veterans’ Day (Nov. 11) evening the Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund 2-year-old pacing colts kicked off the first leg of the Dover Downs Series.

Bebop On The Block (Gambler’s Dream-Seboomook Mao) scored for trainer Josh Green, and the driving sensation from “Down Under,” Dexter Dunn in 1:56.

Owners are Debbie and Brendan Cook of Hartly, Del. and the breeder is Garnet W. O’Marrow of Bridgeville, Del. White Lands scored for the place and Aidan for the show.

Leonard’s Legacy (Tobago Cays-McLovely) was the second division winner in a swift 1:55.2, a new lifetime mark defeating the Harrington final winner, American Nitro. Undercovershamrock got up for the show.

Leonard’s Legacy is owned and bred by Leonard Hubbard of Cambridge, Md. and trained by Nick Callahan. Driven by the “Captain” Corey Callahan.

The DSBF continues Tuesday (Nov. 11) night with the 2-year-old trotters in three early non-wagering races and the first half of the Daily Double.
