Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund 2-year-old races set to open Nov. 12

Dover, DE — The Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund Dover series for 2-year-olds will kick off on Monday night (Nov. 12) at Dover Downs.

Nine colt pacers necessitated a split into two $20,000 divisions. The first of two will be raced early at 4:15 p.m. off the wagering card. At 4:30 p.m. the second division will go to post as the first part of the daily double on the wagering card.

In the non-wagering race, Chillaxin Away (Roddy’s Bags Again-Shake Away) seeks to defend his title and earn another win for owner Jo Ann Looney-King and her trainer/husband Jim King Jr.

In race one, Keepmywiglegametyt (Mr Wiggles-Airtight) for Team Teague won both of his eliminations at Harrington and will be the likely favorite.

Filly pacers will begin their eliminations on Tuesday (Nov. 13) followed by the trotting colts and fillies on Wednesday (Nov. 14).
