Dick Buxton Trot held in Urbana

Celina, OH — The Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio, hosted the two divisions of the Dick Buxton Trot on Wednesday, August 8.

In the first division, Byzanz (8, g, Bosphorus-Mecklenburg-Keystone Voyager), driven by Robert Harmon and owned by Dein Spriggs, took the win in a time of 2:04, holding off Primetime Ranger.

In the second division, Mac Port (8, g, BJ’s Mac-Tarport Diana-Mystic Park), driven by Jeffrey Nisonger and owned by Norris Lenahan, took the win in a time of 2:06.3 over second place John Stevenson. Mac Port, with the win and 10 Signature Series points, is now in second place in the SS Trot behind De Niro G.

The Signature Series returns to the Champaign County Fair on Thursday night (August 9) for the Bob Seabrook Pace and two divisions of pacing.
