Eldorado Scioto Downs to host 2-year-old filly trotters in Buckeye Stallion

Grove City, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs will host the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 2-year-old filly trotters Tuesday (July 20). A total of five divisions, with 47 horses, will race with each division having a purse of $17,500.

Four of the five winners in the first leg return for action in the second leg.

The fastest first leg winner, Toes In The Water (Long Tom) will look to make it two wins in as many starts for Ryan Stahl and Tye Loy. Toes In The Water was a winner in 2:00.1 in the first leg.

Two first leg winners will square off in the third division. Aunt Rita (Uncle Peter) was a winner in 2:03.1 and will be handled by Chris Page for Jimmy Lupton. Alana Hill (What The Hill) leaves from post five and will be driven by Brett Miller for Virgil Morgan Jr. She was a winner in 2:00.3 in the first leg.

The other first leg winner is Sweet On Pete. She will be driven by Anthony MacDonald for Jason McGinnis. The filly was a winner in 2:01.1.

Trainer Chris Beaver will have entries in each of the five divisions, while McGinnis will be sending four hopefuls to the gate.

First race post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs is 6:15 p.m.
