Face Time Bourbon was flying at Vincennes

After a nearly four month absence from a racetrack, top French trotter Face Time Bourbon returned to action at Vincennes on Sunday (June 27) in the Prix Rene Balliere, a race contested over the 1-5/16 mile distance.

Sebastian Guarato-trained Face Time Bourbon won the race last year in a track record of 1:51.3 (mile rate), but Sunday he was even better and won by open lengths in 1:51.1 (mile rate) with Eric Raffin in the bike.

The purse for the winner was $90,000.
