Face Time Bourbon wins again in Paris

It was usual as usual when the top French trotter Face Time Bourbon raced Sunday afternoon (Dec. 13) at Vincennes in the second qualification race to the Prix d’Amerique.

After a lengthy recall caused by two horses who interfered with each other, the Prix du Bourbonnais went off and shortly after the go Face Time Bourbon with Björn Goop in the sulky went off stride. Luckily, Face Time Bourbon took only a couple of strides before he began trotting and from there the victory was never in danger.

Fame Time Bourbon won handily in 1:58.4 (mile rate) followed by the Italian trotter Victor Ferm with Alexander Abrivard and the Norwegian trotter Moni Viking with Matthieu Abrivard.

This trio are now ready for the Prix d’Amerique.

In Italy, the 9-year-old French mare Bahia Quesnot, with trainer Junior Guelpa in the bike, won the Gran Premio Royal Mares at the Agnano track in Naples, easily in 1:55.3f.

Bahia Quesnot is qualified for the Prix d’Amerique, as she finished third in the first qualification race on Nov. 22 at Vincennes.
