Though her sire, Love You, as well as her dam, Lezira Josselyn, were raised and bred in France. we’ll find no less than 57.3 percent Northern American blood in Belina Josselyn. In fact, she is bred by 5×3 to Speedy Crown.

Her sire, Love You, is sired by Coktail Jet, who is out the mare, Armbro Glamour, she by Super Bowl. The granddam of Love You, Amour d’Aunou, was sired by Speedy Somolli.

On the maternal side, the dam of Belina Josselyn, Lezira Josselyn, was sired by North American sire Workaholic, he by Speedy Crown.

Belina Josselyn is by far the best foal out of Lezira Josselyn. She has now raced 63 times and has 23 wins, her best time is 1:53 and with 2,127,430 Euro she is the richest foal sired by Love You and his second winner of the Prix d’Amerique.

Next race for Belina Josselyn might be the Prix de France to be raced at Vincennes on Feb. 10, a race which she won last year.

Despite cold and wet weather, there were 36,176 fans at Vincennes Sunday. However, that was 2,000 down from last year. The trend in the handle in the PMU is still negative, and Sunday the handle was down 2.9 percent from last year to 29.7 million Euro.
