Columbus, OH – While returning home after paddocking horses at Hoosier Park on Saturday (June 1), caretaker Crystal Picciariello, who works for Mark P’Pool, and her daughter were in a serious car accident.

According to the GoFundMe page set up to assist Picciarello with medical expenses, she was “struck head on by a drunk driver” that left her in serious condition with an extensive list of injuries that will require several surgeries.

The GoFundMe page notes that Picciariello is the mother of four children, including a 2-year-old.
