Great additions to online auction

from the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society

Campbellville, ON — Breedings to several top stallions, including North America’s number one pacing stallion, Camluck, have been added to the auction Web site for the Jack Kopas Roast, to benefit the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society, which was launched on Wednesday, October 17.

Seelster Farms, the New Destiny Stable and Bob and Al McIntosh donated the Camluck breeding, worth C$12,500. A booking to his stablemate at the Lucan, Ontario, stud farm, Western Maverick (sire of this year’s outstanding Deuce Seelster), is also now available on the site.

It was announced yesterday that Armbro Deuce would be standing next season at Winbak Farm of Canada for a C$5,000 fee and a breeding to that new stallion has been donated to the auction by Bob and Blair Burgess.

Kentuckiana Farms has donated a breeding to top stallion Grinfromeartoear while Cliff Siegel has given a breeding to his millionaire sire Sir Luck. On the trotting side, Brittany Farms has donated a breeding to Mr Lavec.

These new stallion breedings are in addition to those already announced which include Angus Hall, Striking Sahbra, Mr Lavec, Southfork and Camotion.

Important notice regarding stallion bids: Ten percent of the purchase price is required upon successful purchase of the breeding with the remainder payable when the mare has a live foal.

Also added to the auction site are some keepsakes from this year’s Little Brown Jug and North America Cup winner Tell All. His shoes worn in the Jug as well as the signed saddlepad from the Cup victory have been donated by Karin Olsson and Blair Burgess.

A wide variety of additional auction items are available to be purchased online until Wednesday, October 24, at 12:00 noon. The roast takes place at Western Fair Raceway on Tuesday, October 23.
