Hambletonian Party Charity Casino Night and Poker Tournament announced

Goshen, NY — The Hambletonian Party and Poker & Casino Night Charity Event will be held Friday (Aug. 6) at Meadowlands Racetrack. Proceeds will benefit the Standardbred Retirement Foundation and the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame.

If you are at The Meadowlands for the races on Aug. 6 or in town early for the Hambletonian on Saturday (Aug. 7), join us for some fun and camaraderie and raise funds for two charities that are important to the sport of harness racing.

Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner, open bar, dessert and $25 in casino chips. Casino chips won at table games are exchanged for raffle tickets to deposit in the baskets of the items you want to win. Tickets are drawn at the end of the evening to determine the winners. Raffle items include sports and harness racing memorabilia and fantastic prizes that will be announced at a later date. Additional casino chips may be purchased through the night. Open bar and table games begin at 6 p.m. in the Gallery & Lounge on the second floor.

Poker tournament is $125 per person with limited seats available. The chip leader will receive a three-night, four-day trip for two to Las Vegas, including round-trip airfare, first-class hotel accommodations, food/beverage allowance and show tickets. Second place is $250, third is $125. The poker tournament begins at 7:15 p.m. in the Gallery.

Tickets will be available online and will also be available at the door.
