Magee got away fifth with Parklane Jet and then launched a first-over bid down the backstretch to apply heavy pressure to race leader Stuckey Dote (Mooney Svendsen) before taking a short lead as they approached the wire. Jenson got away third with So So De Vie and saved ground throughout, surging up the inside passing lane in deep stretch to get by Parklane Jet and register his fifth win of the season for owner Jose Cervantes. Castle Flight (Luke Plano) travelled in the pocket all the way and angled out with late pace to surge at the wire and get home in third.

Dean Magee registered a grand slam on the program, taking the first two and the last two races on the night. He registered wins with Dashboard ($9.00), Scarlett Ruby ($4.40), Martha Bigrig ($4.00), and Perseus Seelster ($6.00).

Jacob Cutting completed a hat trick on the card, scoring with Sin Machqueen ($2.10), Elusive Image ($4.60), and Mystery Dragon ($9.60).

Edward Hernandez was the only trainer to score a double on the Tuesday card.
