HHYF looking for teaching assistants

Sudlersville, MD — The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking individuals interested in teaching, extensive travel, and general assistance with the 2019 Harness Horse Youth Foundation Summer Programs.

Tentative dates of employment for the 2019 season are from mid-May to Sept. 1. Position offered is salaried and could be used to fulfill required internship if needed by student. Duties include transporting and caring for the HHYF stable and helping introduce young people to the excitement of harness racing. General horsemanship a must; harness racing experience preferred but not mandatory.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans. The Foundation has been making a difference in young people’s lives since 1976; its programs include interactive learning experiences with racehorses as well as offering scholarships and creating and distributing educational materials relating to harness racing.
