Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale average up 6.5 percent

Middlebury, IN — The 2020 edition of the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale was held Friday (Oct. 23) and Saturday (Oct. 24) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Over two days, 360 yearlings were sold for a gross of $6.9 million and average of $19,202, a 6.5 percent increase over 2019.

History was made during the Friday session when a yearling from the second crop of JK Endofanera brought $240,000, the most an Indiana-sired yearling has brought at public auction.
