Columbus, OH — According to a story by Byron King in BloodHorse magazine, indicted harness trainer Chris Oakes “is expected to enter a guilty plea Oct. 20 in a U.S. District Court on charges related to purchasing, selling, and distributing PEDs.”

Oakes allegedly assisted Thoroughbred trainer Jorge Navarro in the distribution and use of performance enhancing drugs on racehorses.
