Humboldt, IA — Humboldt will host championship weekend for Iowa Harness Racing. Points leaders will compete not only for bragging rights, but increased purses from 2019.

Consolation races will be held on Saturday (Sept. 26), competing for $9,000 per division. The “B” race purses are also increased to $3,000 per division.

Sunday (Sept. 27) will highlight season leaders in the championship finale. All divisions of 2- and 3-year-olds (trotters and pacers) will compete for $18,000. Older Iowa horses will also race to secure their position as 2020 champion on Sunday.
