Jazmin Arnold captures both divisions of Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series

Edgerton, OH — Jazmin Arnold captured both divisions of the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series at the Putnam County Fair in Ottawa, Ohio, on Tuesday (June 25).

Arnold guided Why Don’t U Stay (Santanna Blue Chip-Merry Mistress) to victory in the first division with a winning time of 2:04.3. The 9-year-old gelding is co-owned by Chad Slone and Larry Finn with Finn also performing the conditioning duties.

ER Maria (Dontgetinmyway-Like A Melody) provided Arnold with her winning drive in the second division. The 7-year-old mare is owned and trained by Karen Tkaczyk. ER Maria completed the Ottawa twice-around in 2:04.4.

The Putnam County Fair provided the ladies with their fourth chance to earn points toward the final of the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series at the Delaware County Fair in Delaware, Ohio, on Sept. 17.

Points were previously earned at the Montgomery County Fair in September of 2018 and the recently-completed Paulding County Fair and Pickaway County Fair.

Jazmin Arnold is the current leader in points with 155. Alesha Binkley stands second with 96 points. The remainder of the point standings are as follows: Mandy Jones (79), Mary Dawson (77), Emily Hay (70), Elizabeth Murphy (70), Rhonda Patrick (58), Mariah Wright (35), Rebecca Chambers (15), Renee Bauslaugh (10), Mary Birkhold (10), Amy Eubanks (10), Lauren Harmon (10), and Stacey Van Raemdonck (10).

The next leg of the Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series will be contested at the Clinton County Fair in Wilmington, Ohio, on Tuesday (July 9).
