Columbus, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs management is saddened to announce that the $400,000 Jim Ewart Memorial and the $200,000 Charlie Hill Memorial will be canceled for the upcoming racing season.

Due to the current economic environment, it has been decided to keep overnight purses competitive to 2019 levels for Ohio horsemen. Therefore, Grand Circuit events have been canceled with the intentions of reintroducing the events in 2021.

Nomination payments for the Hill and Ewart Memorial were to be due June 15. Any nomination payments received will be refunded.

Eldorado Scioto Downs continues to work diligently at getting our 2020 racing season started.
