Joyride Hanover, a $105,000 yearling purchase, started from post two and made short work of the five-horse field. Joyride Hanover, the 1-5 favorite with Todd McCarthy in the bike, scored in a wire-to-wire effort in 1:54.2 over Wine N Dine Me (Joe Bongioro) by a scant neck, with Reenactment (Scott Zeron) taking home the show position. The talented Joyride Hanover is by American Ideal out of JK Higher Power and is trained by Eddie Dennis for owner Eric Good.

The daughter of Huntsville-Divine Caroline is trained by Ron Burke. Hamptons Babe was second (Todd McCarthy) and A Girl That Twirls was third (Simon Allard).
