Live racing resumes at Dayton Friday

Dayton, OH — Live racing will resume at Hollywood Dayton Raceway on Friday (Nov. 27) with a few changes.

First, as a way to help offset the financial losses horsemen have experienced while the track has been dark due to Covid-19 concerns, purses will be raised by 15 percent immediately. Second, for at least the first two weeks, the Friday and Saturday programs will begin at 4 p.m. in order to comply with the new 10 p.m. Ohio curfew imposed by Governor Mike DeWine.

A double draw for next Friday and Saturday will be conducted on Tuesday (Nov 24). The entry box will close at 10 a.m. and condition sheets are available online.
