Maryland Sire Stakes Summer Finals for 3-Year-Olds complete

Berlin, MD – Yall Beneath Me (GooGoo GaaGaa) earned his third straight win in this summer series for the 3-year-old trotting colts and geldings, taking two preliminaries and the final at Ocean Downs on Friday (Aug. 14).

Justrestingmyeyes (Up Front Ben) controlled the fractions through the half (:29 and :59) when Russell Foster put Yall Beneth Me in motion from fourth, sweeping past the field, crossing the wire 15-1/4 lengths in front of Justrestingmyeyes. The time for the mile was 1:57.4. Richard Hans is the owner, trainer and breeder of the winner.

The Final for the trotting fillies went to post as race five. The Foster/Hans combination returned to the winner’s circle when Gooreatness (GooGoo GaaGaa) went gate-to-wire, and held off a strong challenge by Two Itchy (Great George Two) to win by a half-length in 1:58.2.

Race six , the final for the pacing fillies, saw reinsman Frank Milby send Hillbilly Kisses (Rusty’s For Real) out to control the fractions (:27.3, :56.1 abd 1:25.3), before holding off I’d Be Rich (Rusty’s For Real) through the last quarter to win by 1-3/4 lengths, tripping the timer in 1:55.2. Brian Callahan trains Hillbilly Kisses for owner and breeder Hillbilly Haven Farms.

Nvrfearlloydishere (Rusty’s All In) picked up his fifth straight win of the 2020 season in the final for pacing colts and geldings in race eight. Eddie Davis Jr. was between the wheels when Nvrfearlloydishere crossed the wire 6-1/4 lengths in front of the pocket-sitting Toms All In (Rusty’s All In) in 1:55.3. Arlene Cameron trains for owner-breeder Pamela Wagner.
