Matching Funds Grant Program awardees announced

Columbus, OH — The USTA Matching Funds Grant Program, now in its 14th year, is happy to announce the 12 fairs that have been awarded money for the marketing and promotion of their county fair harness racing program.

In these uncertain times, the USTA appreciates the participation of fairs across seven states to submit applications.

The 2020 awardees are:
Bloomsburg Fair (PA)
Clearfield County Fair (PA)
Columbiana County Fair (Lisbon, OH)
Croswell Agricultural Society (MI)
Effingham County Fair (Altamont, IL)
Fowlerville Harness Horsemen (MI)
Marion County Fair (Lebanon, KY)
Mercer County Fairgrounds, Inc. (Celina, OH)
Morrow County Fair (Mt. Gilead, OH)
Newton County Fair (Kentland, IN)
Van Wert County Agricultural Society (OH)
Walworth County Fair (Elkhorn, WI)

The Matching Funds Grant program provides 50 percent of a marketing budget, up to $1,000, for fairs and horsemen’s organizations to promote harness racing on the fair level.
