East Rutherford, NJ — Reacting to a very short box for the weekend of Sept. 3-4, to the point where the Reynolds Memorial 2-year-old stakes were moved from Tioga Downs to The Meadowlands to avert the cancellation of a racing day, The Meadowlands will add a previously unscheduled Kindergarten leg on Friday (Sept. 10).

This added leg is available to all horses that are paid into the Kindergarten, the purse will remain at $20,000 per division, declaration fee $250 and the points earned in these races will count toward eligibility for the final. All subsequent Kindergarten legs will race as scheduled, including the following two Fridays, Sept. 17 and 24.

This added leg will be on the next condition sheet for The Meadowlands when it is posted on Friday.
