Meet hockey icon Paul Henderson on Maple Leaf Trot night

Campbellville, ON — On Maple Leaf Trot night, which takes place on Saturday (July 21) at Mohawk, racing fans will be treated to world class racing and will get a chance to meet legendary hockey icon Paul Henderson.

Henderson will forever be known for scoring one of hockey’s most famous goals when he scored the game winning goal in the 1972 Summit Series for Team Canada against the USSR.

Henderson, who was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1995, played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Atlanta Flames.

Henderson will be on hand for an autograph session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
