Grove City, OH –  The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association sent out the following reminder and announcement on Tuesday (Nov. 23) —

U.S. Trotting Association’s Executive Board previously affirmed that horses cannot be entered to race after January 1, 2022 unless they are microchipped.

The USTA will be microchipping at Northfield Park on Nov. 29, 30 & Dec. 1 in the mornings and from 5 to 8 p.m. for horses that have shipped in to race.

Editor’s Note – The USTA will also have a representative available to do microchipping in the paddock at Hollywood Dayton Raceway each racing day and evening.
