Midwest Mixed Sale entries online; supplements being accepted

Shipshewana, IN — The Midwest Auction Company is pleased to announce that entries for the 2020 Midwest Mixed Sale, to be held Tuesday (Nov. 24) in Shipshewana, Ind., are now online.

Entries may be viewed at MidwestAuctionCo.com. Catalogs are planned to be mailed later this week.

The sale will once again take place at the Michiana Event Center and will start at Noon on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

This year’s edition features an especially strong group of in foal broodmares. A few highlights include a pair of stellar mares carrying Captain Chunch first crop babies. Those are Hip 50-Annie’s Delight p,3,1:56.1f, the Bettor’s Delight full sister to Ideation Hanover and Hip 59-Breath Of Life, a full sister to the dam of Bettor’s Wish. Both mares are carrying their first foals.

There are several delightful divas later in the catalog that can continue racing and then be a big addition to any broodmare band, those being Hip 114-Always Giggling p,4,1:50.3 ($487,098); Hip 115-Shady Caroline p,4,1:50.2s ($399,362); Hip 116 -Trotting Grace 4,1:54.1h ($324,341) and Hip 118-Sayulita p,3,1:51.1f ($315,996).

The racehorse entries feature many lightly raced 2-year-olds, as well as a nice group of 3-year-olds fitting many conditions, again featuring reduction consignments from Jack Myers Racing, the Erv Miller Stable and the LeWayne Miller Stable.

Supplemental entries are being accepted, to sell immediately after the main catalog. Contact Jeff at 260.463.1649 or by email at jeff.fought@MidwestAuctionCo.com to enter.

The Midwest Benefit dinner and fundraiser will be held immediately after the auction on Tuesday evening, featuring breedings to many stallions, and the Michiana Classic Yearling Sale will be held on Wednesday. For more information, visit MidwestAuctionCo.com.
