Shakopee, MN — The Minnesota Racing Commission has received live race day requests for 2019 from Running Aces Casino and Racetrack, and Canterbury Park Entertainment, LLC.

Canterbury Park has requested 66 live racing days, including a 49-day mixed Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse meet and a 17-day Thoroughbred-only meet.

Running Aces Casino and Racetrack has requested 52 Standardbred live racing days between May 18 and Sept. 14 with between eight and 12 races per day.

The Minnesota Racing Commission will hear public comments regarding these requests at a public hearing at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 13) at the St. Louis Park Public Library Meeting Room, 3140 Library Lane, Minneapolis, MN 55426.

The Commission will consider the requests at a full commission meeting immediately following the hearing at the same location.
