Misty Monday takes over lead in Signature Series

Celina, OH — On Thursday night severe weather swept thru Central Ohio and postponed racing at the Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio, including the Signature Series’ Bob Seabrook Pace. The races were moved to Friday afternoon (August 10) and after the two divisions ran the SS Pace had a new leader in Misty Monday, by one point over previous leader Torpedo Joe.

In the first divison, Misty Monday finished a strong second, picking up nine series points, while Torpedo Joe finished sixth in the second division and only picked up five series points.

In the first divison of the Bob Seabrook pace, Caramel Dumpling (6, H, Towner’s Big Guy-Spicy Dumpling-Dexter Nukes), driven by Roy Burns and owned by Melissa Levan, won in a time of 2:01 over Misty Monday.

In the second division, Lotsabelief (5, G, Firm Belief-Gragaston-Camtastic), owned by Justin Hall and Travis Rinehart and also driven by Hall, easily outdistanced second place Look Logan.

The Signature Series now moves to the Mercer County Fair for the Grand Lake Pace and Grand Lake Trot.
