Milton, ON – Woodbine Mohawk Park’s Race Office would like to inform horse people that this week’s training day has been moved from Wednesday (Dec. 2) to Thursday (Dec. 3) due to inclement weather expected for the Mohawk area.

Sign-up for training this Thursday at Mohawk Park opens today (Monday, Nov. 30)  at 3 p.m. and will close on Wednesday (Dec. 2) at noon.

This week’s training day will run from 7 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with two training sessions open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Each slot will allow for 60 horses, with a limit of 10 horses per trainer.

Training hours will be allotted by signing up on a first-come, first serve-basis. Signups will start today (Monday, Nov. 30) at 3 p.m.

All paddock COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place for training hours, including the requirement to have all personnel wearing a face mask. Only trainers and essential licensed personnel over the age of 16 will be permitted through the Security check point.
