MSOA’s Third Annual Wiener Dog Races

Washington, PA – The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is holding their Third Annual Wiener Dog Races at the Meadows Racetrack on Friday (May 24) starting at 5:30 p.m.

The wiener dogs, who will race in between live harness racing, will compete in two heats of 12 dogs in each one.  The top four finishers from each heat will move onto the 2019 Wiener Dog Championship. The winner of the race will win $250, a championship blanket and doggy goodies.

The fun starts with the dogs, but that’s not where it ends.  There will be no charge for admission and parking and the MSOA will be offering a free family fun night featuring a face painter, balloon artist, stilts walker and bounce house.

Also happening  on the apron of the Meadows Racetrack will be the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival.  The festival will include more than 30 food trucks.

Fireworks will conclude the night’s festivities after racing.
