Museum seeks to support County Fair racing

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame has an exhibit that spotlights county fair harness racing. Part of the exhibit includes brochure racks for fair information. If you would like to introduce your great summer event to more than 28,000 people this year send a supply to us just as soon as they are available. We will be happy to help you promote your activities.

As part of our county fair support we can provide, without charge, a free exhibit “What Is Harness Racing.” The presentation features six beautifully framed posters that explain how the sport started and its current action. The only requisites are that the posters are displayed in a weather-protected area and that a person is assigned responsibility for them while they are on location. Contact Ashley Todd at hrm@frontiernet.net for a Host Application. Reservations are on a first-come-first served basis and dates are filling fast.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY 10924 and is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last tour 4:00 p.m.) Thanks to US Trotting Association support the Museum is currently offering free admission for walk-in visitors and $4.00/person for group docent-guided tours.
